That’s an excellent review. I was about to go for a stroll, started reading your review, finished it, and am still here. The book is on one of my piles-or rather cases-of books to be read asap. Not because it won an award, but because several people here in Uppsala were captivated by it. One person told me that the first half must be read slowly and carefully, if the entire book is to be understood at all. As opposed to readers I know elsewhere but not here, that evaluation was meant positively. Since I enjoy challenging books that have plenty to say about the real world, I’ll read this one quicker than I had planned. Your review clinched that.
